I Am Myself

I am myself, like it or not.
My thoughts are mine.
My feelings are mine.
Anyone who tries to force me to change...
I'm done with.

I am an individual.
I will have my own experiences.
I'll have a unique life.
I'll have my own joys.
My own struggles.
My own losses.

But the second you try to change
The person I am;
As soon as you try
To cloud my mind with confusion,
I'll drive a knife into the heart
Of that chaos,
That haze,
That blinds me from who I really am.

Nobody can torture me.
Nobody can change the way I feel.
Nobody will take me alive.
Nobody will make me want to change who I am.
